Smiles for Indonesian Children with Subholding Gas: Natural Gas Education and Environmentally Friendly Transportation

Jakarta – In commemoration of National Children's Day 2025, PGN Gagas held a series of educational activities with the theme "Natural Gas Education for the Smiles of Indonesian Children" and the tagline "Transportation Using Good Energy, a Fun Future." The activities, held in Jakarta, involved 20 children from PGN Gagas employee families.

The various activities carried out to educate the children about natural gas included interactive education about CNG vehicles, providing light-hearted explanations about CNG and its benefits for the transportation sector and the environment. Furthermore, the education continued with a visit to a gas filling station (SPBG), where the children were invited to observe the process of filling vehicles with CNG and understand the importance of using clean and safe energy. Finally, the children experienced using a CNG bajaj (a type of transportation based on good energy and being more environmentally friendly).

Through this activity, PGN Gagas aims to instill a concern for the environment and clean energy from an early age, while also supporting the government's efforts to expand the use of natural gas for transportation.

Santiaji Gunawan, President Director of Gagas, explained the importance of early education and understanding for children about how to choose energy in their daily lives. "With natural gas education, we hope to bring smiles and enthusiasm to children as they embrace a greener and more enjoyable future with clean energy," said Santiaji.

PGN Gagas demonstrates its commitment to continuously presenting innovations and sustainable educational programs to support the realization of a clean transportation ecosystem in Indonesia. This is also in line with the spirit of the Nawa Cita (Nine Priorities) of President Prabowo Subianto's administration, which emphasizes sustainable development and improving the quality of human resources. PGN Gagas invites Indonesian children to learn about clean energy through natural gas education. "Because by understanding and using clean energy from an early age, we can together realize transportation using clean energy, and the future will certainly be fun for the smiles of Indonesian children, bright and sustainable," concluded Santiaji.
