Batam – Pertamina's gas subholding, through its subsidiary, PT Gagas Energi Indonesia (PGN Gagas), continues its commitment to supporting the sustainability of nutritious food programs by providing a clean and efficient supply of natural gas. One initiative is ensuring the availability of natural gas for the Rosa Global National Nutrition Kitchen, located in Anggrek Mas, Batam City.

Every day, this kitchen prepares 3,204 free lunches as part of a government program to improve community nutrition. To support its operations, PGN Gagas supplies 800-1,000 m³ of natural gas per month, ensuring the cooking process runs smoothly and efficiently without interruption.

PGN Gagas utilizes the Batam Gas Filling Station (SPBG), which has two compressor units with a total capacity of 0.6 MMscfd, to ensure a stable natural gas supply. Gas filling is carried out between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, supported by 30 workers consisting of administrators, operators, security guards, and Gas Transport Module (GTM) drivers. Currently, PGN Gagas has three 10-foot GTM units, one 5-foot GTM unit, and 60 C-Cyl cylinders, which support natural gas distribution to various sectors in Batam.

In addition to ensuring a steady supply of natural gas, PGN Gagas is also continuing to develop energy infrastructure to support large-scale kitchens that run social and public health programs. PGN Gagas wants to ensure that these programs not only operate now but also continue to grow. Gagas is ready to support energy needs with beyond-pipeline solutions, such as CNG, for kitchens that are not yet accessible by the pipeline.
